By accessing or using Scriptales (scriptales.io), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. Scriptales provides an AI-powered ebook creation platform and marketplace.

2. Description of Service

Scriptales provides users with tools to generate, structure, and design ebooks using artificial intelligence. This includes the "BookBuild™" engine, ghostwriter personas, and cover generation tools.

3. User Accounts

To use certain features, you must register for an account via our authentication provider (Supabase). You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. AI-Generated Content

Ownership: You own the final ebook outputs generated by the service. Scriptales claims no ownership over the text or designs you produce using our tools.

Usage Rights: By using the service, you grant Scriptales a limited, non-exclusive license to process your input data to provide and improve our services. We do not use your private ebook content to train public AI models without explicit consent.

Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content you generate. You must ensure that your generated ebooks do not violate copyright laws or contain prohibited material.

5. Payments and Credits

All payments are processed securely via Paddle. We offer a Lifetime Deal and various credit-based upgrades. All sales are final after the 14-day refund period described in our Refund Policy.

6. Marketplace and Pseudonyms

Scriptales allows users to publish books to our Marketplace using Author Profiles (pseudonyms). You must own the rights to all content you publish. Scriptales reserves the right to remove any content that violates our community guidelines or legal standards.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to use the service to generate hate speech, copyrighted material without permission, or sexually explicit content. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer our AI models or bypass security measures.

8. Limitation of Liability

Scriptales is provided "as is." We do not guarantee the accuracy of AI-generated content. In no event shall Scriptales Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the service.
